INTRODUCING
2025 Cascades Futurity and Aged Event Cool Guitar Incentive
5/6 Open, 5/6 Non Pro and 5/6 Amateur each pay one (1) spot to the top advancing horse who has been named by a holder of a fully paid 2026 Cool Guitar breeding contract
- Open: $15,000
- Non Pro: $10,000
- Amateur: $10,000
Each breeding contract = one eligible entry into the Open, Non Pro and Amateur, name a horse once and it covers all 3 divisions
Open riders can purchase a contract and name a horse they are riding with permission from the owner.
Example 1:
Morgan Cromer is riding a horse owned by John Doe. John is showing his horse in the Amateur and Morgan is showing in the Open. Morgan can (with John’s permission) pay for a Cool Guitar 2026 breeding contract and name the horse for all 3 divisions. If John is the highest advancing Amateur on the named horse in the Cool Guitar Incentive then the check would be sent to Morgan since she is the contract holder.
Example 2:
John Doe owns a horse showing in both the Open and Non Pro divisions. He can purchase a 2026 Cool Guitar breeding contract and name his horse and he would receive the incentive check if his horse was highest advancing in either the Open or the Non Pro (or both!).
Incentive checks will be made out the the name of the 2026 Cool Guitar contract holder.
Named horses can be by any sire and out of any mare.
All contracts must be paid and all horses must be named prior to the beginning of the first go round of each division respectively.
